Administrative Experience
- Entrepreneurship (1998 - 2002)
Being small scale unit, I had to look after almost all aspects like purchase, design, audits, applicable taxes, quality aspects and sales. It was about Rs. 1,20,00,000/- turnover per year company.
- Head of the Department, E&TC Engineering (2012 - 2013)
The student intake for Undergraduate program was 180 and for post graduate program was 18. Department had faculty strength of 43 catering to about 300 students from SE to BE and 18 students of ME.
Major highlights are as below:
- Under my leadership Department has faced the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) committee and received the accreditation for 2 years. This was the first accreditation of the Department.
- Extensive efforts on guiding faculty and implementing NBA philosophy (PO,PEO etc.) in the department.
- Postgraduate program in E&TC with specialization in Embedded and VLSI systems is started in the department in the year of 2012. I was instrumental in the proper establishment of this newly added course. Being the first year of course, I was also given responsibility as PG coordinator during this year.
- A laboratory in association with Texas Instrument was developed. Training program for faculty and students are conducted under this MoU.
- Enhanced industry interaction, especially in the domain of VLSI and Embedded with Coreal technologies, Xilinx, C-DAC etc.

I have extensively worked for creating flavor of Post graduate program. Though various successful initiatives
- Establishment of the state of the art laboratory: Through the MODROB grant of 7.25 Lakhs and Institutional budget a state-of-the art laboratory with tools like Mentor Graphics and Xilinx Vivado were made available along with development boards like Virtex-5, Virtex-7, Kintex, peripheral boards, SDR kit, SoC facility etc.
- Interaction with Industry:
- Establishment of two centers of excellence Xilinx FPGA Centre of Excellence, and Mentor Graphics VLSI Centre of Excellence
- Industry interactions with LSI logic, C-DAC, Xilinx, Whirlpool, Cummins, KPIT etc. through which various guest lectures, training programs, student internships, projects were arranged.

- National Social Service (NSS) and Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) cells activities for involving students in community work. Various activities guided and conducted under my leadership are:
- Village development: The institute has adopted two villages (Vadeshwar and Sangurdi) for the development in education, cleanliness, missions against the bad habits, superstition, environmental issues, women empowerment etc.
- Computer literacy programs for ZP school teachers and staff
- Help underprivileged school children by conducting various courses
- Tie-ups with Lila Poonawala Foundation (LPF) for conducting Training programs for LPF scholorship beneficiery girls by PCCoE faculty
- Programs/Street Plays on social issues like road safety, ill-effects of alcoholism or bad habits, importance of cleanliness etc.
- Frequent visits and donation drives for weaker sections, orphans, hospitals, old age homes through donations in various modes.
- Organization of Blood donation camps
- Tree plantation drives
- Support to RTO as Police Mitra during Ganesh Festival
- Support to local municipal corporation in various initiatives like during Ganesh festival through Nirmaya Visarjan Campaign, voter registration drive etc.
- Support to Anti Superstition Committee (Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti) in the community development.
I have established this office as First Dean-Student Development and Welfare of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering with proper development plan, systematic ISO processes and working through 9 different faculty teams (Total about 75 Faculty) and large number of student cells to cater the plethora of activities.
